Join the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office Cadets for our annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser at Applebee’s in Brewster!

All proceeds help send our Cadets to Cadet Camp this summer — supporting leadership development, training, and community service.

Sheriff Brian Hess will also be stopping by to show his support for our Cadets and meet members of the community.

This past weekend, our Phase 2 Cadets had the opportunity to learn some Defensive Tactics with our very own Deputy Varley!! Deputy Varley is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt who has been a defensive tactics instructor since 2015. What a great experience for our Cadets!!

Monday evening our Phase 1 Cadets finally received their first classroom lesson where their new Cadet Sergeants went outer the Cadet Handbook- Our Rules and Regulations.

Then alongside Phase 2, our Phase 1 Cadets had their first PT test which requires them to complete push-ups, sit-ups and a 1.5 mile run!

Let’s keep it up Cadets!!
